Joseph Lee is a recognized teacher in the tradition of Mystery School teachers which reaches back into antiquity. His interest in esoteric spirituality became evident in his childhood. As a teenager, he was studying Theosophy, mystical Christianity, and Qabalistic texts; at eighteen he was contacted by a group of Initiates and began his formal training in the Western Mystery Tradition. He experienced his spiritual education more often as a remembering than learning new information. During those twenty years, he worked closely with extraordinary teachers from many traditions. Through his study groups, retreats, workshops, and lectures, Joseph carries on the tradition of passing a sacred Arcana "from mouth to ear." His public programs include: Invoking the Divine Feminine, Mysteries of Initiation, The Living Tarot, The Secret Energies of Relationships, Creating Personal and Family Rituals, The Tree of Life, Invoking the Angels, The Souls Journey Between Death and Rebirth, Approaching the Self Through the Body, and Ascension. To facilitate the deeper transformations promised in the Ancient Wisdom, Joseph has founded and teaches through regional Mystery School Study Groups in Washington, DC, and Knoxville, TN. In addition to these monthly programs, he creates two annual Merkabah Retreats, and various seminar programs throughout the year in different regions. He is also a regular and popular presenter at the Association for Research and Enlightenment (A.R.E.), and other organizations. Joseph is well-known for his lively, challenging, intense and humorous style of teaching. He sustains a private practice in Virginia Beach, VA focusing on transformational work with individuals. He is a certified Alexander Technique Teacher, a Reiki Master, and is also trained in CranioSacral Therapy, SomatoEmotional Release, MariEl, and Emotional Freedom Technique. He combines this clinical training with his Qabalistic and intuitive abilities to facilitate this process of Tikum, (spiritual awakening).
